It is Memorial Day in America. Today we remember those who have died in service to the country. Flags fly and flowers are placed on graves. Not as many go to the cemeteries as in the past. I guess we are too busy sometimes to pause.

President George Bush flew into the wilderness today. His purpose was to visit one of the most revered spots in Israel, the mountain top fortress of Masada near the Dead Sea. Here, in 73 A.D., more than 960 Jews held out against the Roman Tenth Legion and then committed suicide rather than submit.
